Vessels of Hope –
A report on SeedPods

Genesis Psycho-Active SeedPod (SC_0.7490) ︎︎︎ SeedPod Market

In 2032, the Planetary Ecosystem Regeneration Project (PERP) officially launched its first series of SeedPods. This international research collaboration, spanning several of the world’s surviving urban, rural, subterranean, and subaquatic communities, brought together shared knowledge of, and expertise in ecosystem development. Combining practices of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK), Revived Indigenous Technology (RIT), Biodynamic Agriculture, Microbiology, Solar Engineering, and Whole Systems Faith Work, PERP developed a formula for ‘vessels of hope’— as they are called by several members — designed to repair and regenerate desecrated bioregions on the planet. The collective enterprise of PERP is formulated by members from various decentralized communities, which are interlinked by PERP to tackle collective necessities like global ecosystem repair. PERP conducts research on the SeedPods in close collaboration with the Council of Revived Indigenous Technology (known as ‘The Council’). Each individual member community operates within their own local economies, with independent barter systems backed by DIA4.22 interface-value token measurement1.

What are SeedPods?

SeedPods are hybrid eco-nano-tech devices. They can be as small as a grain of rice, or as big as a coconut, and are designed to support and regenerate the wounded terrains of the eco-systemic whole. Through extensive research and intuitive cross-comparison between global ecosystem practices, PERP found a way to create small, cohesive Pods, which are capable of establishing new, vibrant ecosystems when deployed in their designated area. Each member-community has a specific method of producing and/or distributing SeedPods.

SeedPods contain specific mixtures of plant seeds, minerals, fungi, pockets of water, glucose and other vital life-starting components. These organic materials are bound together by the Organic Lignocellulosic Microfiber known as Weeve2 as engineered by PERP after careful analysis of the binding agents found in plant bodies. In practical terms, Weeve acts as a living, binding agent with high durability, flexibility, and most importantly, the ability to ‘grow’ and warp depending on the SeedPod’s specific contents. Another vital aspect of Weeve is its capability to hold H2O, O2 and other essential elements together in a membrane-like sack, making SeedPods capable of containing eco-system regeneration packages in a single pod.

In terms of size-to-effect ratio, SeedPods of medium size can come with complete terra-shaping devices, equipped with powerful compositions of minerals, seeds, spores, and elementals. In other circumstances they are much smaller, and are deployed as cunning acupuncture needles that stimulate a terrain in a subtle yet effective, targeted way. For example: all it took to detoxify the Great Northern Lakes was the addition of nano-oxygen-generating algae, deployed with a delayed-release encryption that over time set off a balancing eco-systematic chain. On other occasions, ongoing deployment of earth-type stabilizing root Pods was needed, next to several combinations of nutrient, fibrous-plant Pods. Then there are Rock Rehabilitation SeedPods, which come with a nano-drill capable of deconstructing rock surfaces to prepare them for more habitable soil types/habitation. ︎︎︎

How are SeedPods distributed?

SeedPods can be taken to designated areas of deployment by humans on foot, in carts, trucks and other vehicles. Alternatively, Pods can be transported by a built-in drone technology that is operating on PERP-developed solar-photon-based synthesis energy known as SolarSyn-e3. Although initially needing to be charged by the sun, SolarSyn-e is capable of replicating the mechanism of photosynthesis independently over time. Like ancient 90’s glow-in-the-dark technology now based in organic synthesis, SolarSyn-e does not produce a funky glowing green light, but a nano-energy source capable of transporting SeedPods over long distances. Due to distinct manufacturing styles (by machine, by hand, by multispecies fiber-making-processes), available technological hybridity (micro-drone-tech yes/no), and the different requirements of various bioregions of deployment, each SeedPod has a unique style of transportation and utilization. There have been reports, however, of cases where SeedPods initially designed to self-deploy had to be manually activated on-site when the deployment tech was compromised during transportation.

Some SeedPods are soluble in water, while others need to be pulverized by hand before entering the soil, much like original plant seeds and the planting of saplings. In more specific variations, we find microscopic Pods which can be picked up by bees, much like pollen. Ultimately, the versatility of SeedPods mirrors the diverse and specific circumstances of the Earth’s many bioregions, some populated by wildlife only (rather than human-urban-domestic communities) and so requiring SeedPods to be ingested and distributed by our animal-kin. In consultation with the Council of Revived Indigenous Technology (‘The Council’), PERP accomplished remarkable results where specific cave-lichen capable of detoxifying subterranean nuclear air vents in hard-to-reach areas were stabilized by cave-wolvens, bringing the Pods into their dens via ingestion and then, droppings.︎︎︎

How do SeedPods restore ecosystems?

As mentioned, each SeedPod contains vital elements that help reset and restore ecosystems. In order to meet the diversity of bioregional and soil types around the globe, SeedPod types are myriad. Weather conditions and other external influences like toxic industrial waste, or high salinization due to flooding, also drastically alter the state of the terrains and the viability of ecosystem restoration. In more simple terms, this means that some SeedPods are designed to re-green deserted areas, while others help fortify the soil. Some provide high-density nutritional plant types, others actively desalinate or re-mineralize areas. There are even specialized Medicinal SeedPods that carry complete packages of over 250 types of medicinal plants. Under the supervision of The Council, Pods are assembled which carry distinct selections of species belonging to Sacred Natural Sites that have been embedded in ancient human cultures, practices and languages for eons. These Pods carry Cultural Keystone Species and unique sand/soil types native to specific sacred terrains, some over a few thousand years old.︎︎︎

What are examples of successful SeedPod implementation?

PERP and its member communities are continuously in search of how to implement the SeedPods so as to best let the subsequential eco-systemic development run its own course. It all depends on the area and terrain in question, the needs of the local human or non-human communities, and the factor of time. One example is the Balahiuah area in the southwest peninsula district, which has been subjected to acute and heavy rainstorms for the past couple of decades. For this reason, the ecosystem repairs require not only direct aid and nutrient-rich plant SeedPods, but also dehydration earth-type development Pods, and water purifying Pods. In the Balahiuah district, PERP was tasked with the redevelopment of an entire bioregional landscape, from soil stability up to varied species and eco-niches. Indeed, PERP’s task is not an easy one, and without Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) it would essentially be impossible. At its core, the mission of all PERP-member communities is to remedy the Earth through the development and distribution of SeedPods, helping to rekindle Ecological Multi-Species Homeostasis5.︎︎︎

Do SeedPods work in all ecosystems?

In general, PERP surveys the following types of ecosystems for SeedPod deployment: agricultural, aquatic, coral reef, desert, forest, human-urban, littoral zone, marine, prairie, rainforest, savanna, steppe, taiga, tundra, subterranean urban, sub-aquatic urban, and surface-level. In all circumstances, plants, animals, soil organisms and climatic conditions are measured as part of the analysis conducted by PERP-members. Soil types surveyed are Clay Soil, Sandy Soil, Silty Soil, Peaty Soil, Chalky Soil, Loamy Soil, Amethystium Soil, Meteorite Impact Soil (MIS), and various salinized, depleted, or Former-Industrial Toxic Soils (F-I TS), which are essentially primary soil-types, with some funky extras.︎︎︎

Do SeedPods contain wildlife?

PERP operates in accordance with The Helsinki Pact of 2025, which prohibits the use of animal seeds and fish roe in the development and research of PERP. Naturally, wildlife observation and the teachings of The Council involve careful knowledge of the types of plant/mineral combinations that can help set up optimized parameters for wildlife to respond to. SeedPods are ultimately reliant on the remaining ecosystem power and viability, local wildlife, microorganisms, and insects that still live on location. This means that despite the efforts of ongoing SeedPod improvement, some areas require a long time to regenerate, as insects and/or wildlife simply need to return on their own accord, weaving their migrations and belongings into the environment again, while we help set the basic parameters using the Pods. For example, Mesozoic flowering plants cannot solely rely on SeedPod deployment, as secondary pollination depends on the presence of a complete, well-functioning ecological web including dung, cadavers, and other nutritious and pollen carrying plants nearby. While Pods lay at the basis of Ecosystem regeneration, life itself is required to respond in order for full recovery to appear. In this knowledge, PERP-member communities are fully reliant on the natural course of ecosystems unfolding, as has been the case with the cohabitation of humanity on the Globe since the dawn of time. PERP observes, contributes, and aids as best as possible in this process of the assemblage we call Earth by listening and mimicking its powerful ways with the ongoing optimization of the SeedPods.︎︎︎

1︎︎︎ The DIA4.22 interface-value token measurement is a mechanism that cross-compares the various tokens and valutas in use on Earth today, to seek out ways to interdependently exchange resources and information between the myriad human communities cohabitating the planet. It was developed as one of many offshoots of early second millennium proto-tokenomic value systems, commonly known as crypto.

2︎︎︎ Weeve is the second generation organic Lignocellulosic microfiber, which came after StiKi: a treebark-based cohesive that did not sufficiently withstand the re-shaping and shuffling that occurs in the Pods due to their organic compositions. As the name suggests, Weeve is based on loosely, interdependently woven living microfibers, and as such is perfectly versatile in response to the organic nature of the Pods, as opposed to the ‘fixed’ structure of the earlier cohesive StiKi.

3︎︎︎ Both Weeve and SolarSyn-e are primary eco-tech developments propagated by the members of PERP, leading up to the development and distribution of the Pods. In comparison to the Council of Revived Indigenous Technology, PERP aligns with eco-technology in its primary focus groups, whereas The Council overlooks the whole-systems inter-species reciprocity and relationships via a cosmological lense.

4︎︎︎ Subaquatic SeedPods (Sa) operate, besides gravity and water currents, on a energy system that is a slight variation of SolarSyn-e, whereas the energy is not generated by regular solar-photon based synthesis, but by phytoplankton either present in the water, or added to the pods.

5︎︎︎ This is also referred to as Primary Relations Flourishing (or makh-du) by The Council, and is remembered in stories of old by various names.
